About soma holiday
Soma holiday is a 90's alternative rock band from San Francisco. Founder Chelle Amerson (vocals, keyboards) met Christopher Haynes (guitar) in 1986 while studying at San Francisco State University. They later recruited fellow students Robert Sansom (bass) and Pejman Hakimi (drums). Soma holiday released their eponymous debut album in 1990, garnering a loyal following and support from local radio stations KUSF, KZSU, and KQED. The band played extensively in their hometown of San Francisco and got college radio airplay around the country, reaching #13 in Detroit Rock City.
